Orientation week

众所皆知，很多大学或是学院为了欢迎newbies 都会举办 orientation week，我的大学curtin也一样。在orientation week，除了speeches闷了一点外（其实是很多点^^），其它的activities(group cheers, mini games, detective game, group presentation for health product…)都还不错。

In the end of the O-Week , we have beach party at piasau boat club. It’s a very nice n very relax place.

We play beach volleyball ,tarc of war ("ba2 he2") and frisbeee there.

When the nite time approached, we have our luxurius dinner at the boat club. (lamb steak, bbq chicken wing, fried potatoes, vegetables, coleslaw, garlic bread, watermelon, banana & orange squash) The food are really really great n I ate 2 round !! Wakaka… (We no need to pay any $ for the party. Hehe… )

After that, u guys know wat I did ? I dance together at the disco hall with people although I duno how to dance. I jz shake here n shake there, jump here n jump there. Lolz…

My Choice ~ University of Technology Curtin

Intro : Curtin University of Technology Sarawak Campus, Malaysia is the first offshore campus of Curtin University of Technology, Western Australia. Curtin Sarawak’s operations in Miri, Sarawak commenced in February 1999. In 2002, the new purpose-built campus in a garden opened, which is a world-class facility where stylish architecturally designed buildings complement state-of-the-art equipment and facilities coupled with sophisticated IT linkages to provide students access to the resources of Curtin, Western Australia. In November 1999, Curtin Sarawak was awarded the Multimedia Super Corridor status and was renewed in 2006.

This is the overview of my university of technology Curtin. Is it nice ? haha... I have decided to study my half year foundation n 4 year degree chemical engineering course here. I dont want to study the half year foundation but i have no choice, my STPM results are too bad. The entry requirements for STPM are B B B while for A-Level are C C C (because STPM is Malaysia standard , A-level is UK cambridge standard.) Zzz... really is wtf !

I need to pay rm6,000 for my half year foundation course and RM22,000 every year for my chemical engineer degree course. Total = RM 94,000 !!! (not including living costs) I can loan money from PTPTN = RM16,000 per year. 4 year = RM 64,000 . Aiks, I need to study hard and do something to get some scholarship and sponsor le., if not can die...

Accomodation : Curtin villa (twin sharing room with air-conditioned) Please dont say me bai ka because this is the cheapest room d. RM300 per month (i still think it's expensive but air-conditioned nuh) Haha....

I m leaving for my whole new dream soon at 18/07/2009.

UNIMAP tak nak

I get an offer from local university recently, University Malaysia Perlis (UNIMAP). It's a microelectronic engineering degree course. Actually i m attracted to the course at the beginning as the fees are only RM 3168 per year. It's so so so cheap compare to private university, the living costs at perlis is quite low too. But after thinking deeply, i have decided to hold on my previous decision.

1st reason : I have no more confident on local education. For example, although STPM is said to be recognized by worldwide but A-Level is more preferable by collages and university. USM which claimed to be top university of malaysia can made such silly mistake in students' enrollment list.

2nd reason : I think Chemical Engineering is a better course compare to microelectronic engineering. In the future, chemical might play an important role in our daily life and thus chemical engineer will have a good and bright prospect. ^^

3rd reason : I just out of kota bharu, kelantan , i dont want to stay at another place (perlis) which is more slowly developed than my hometown. I hope i can go to explore and see a new place which is better than kota bharu. I also know that i cant really concentrate in my studies if i am not happy with what i studying or i m forced to do something.

I wont regret on my decision and i hope that it is a good decision. =)

康乃馨的意义

10/05/2009 : 众所皆知今天是一年一度的母亲节，我这个做孩子的当然要有些表示吧。绞尽脑汁后决定到花店去买康乃馨(carnations)送给妈妈，怎知被她讲我浪费钱。 =.=" 她的嘴是这样讲，但我还是看得出她很高兴，因为她的表情以及行为出卖了她。^^ 哈哈... 认真的想一想，我真的很久没让妈妈那么高兴了，惭愧～

19/06/2009 ： 妈妈大人的生日我当然不能忘记啦。=) Muhibah 的 fruit cake 是一定不能少的，因为那是我妈的最爱。我还买了6罐装的Brands白兰氏燕窝给妈妈调理身体。

妈妈.... 这两个字是我最早学会说的话，也是我来到这个世界最早认识的人。但是越长越大，妈妈与我的距离似乎越来越远，意见以及看法的差距也越来越大。她的过度关心以及过度的束缚对我而言是一种心理负担，让我觉得厌恶,也令我这个耐性不好的儿子常常跟她吵架。我知道这样会令她很伤心,但是很多时候我都被自己的情绪给控制了。Haiz... 我的EQ太低了。

这阵子妈妈的健康状态不是很好，都是我的疏忽。因为每次我带她去看医生过后，我只听她的片面之词而没有去深入了解她的病情。她入院的那一刻，我真的好担心好担心，我很怕很怕我会再失去一个亲人。她住院的那两天，我虽然很累，但是至少我尽了做孩子的责任。

小时候，妈妈放慢脚步牵着我，一步一步地慢慢走；长大了，我也要放慢脚步陪着她一步一步地开心渡过人生。

妈妈，我已经长大了，会分是非黑白，也会照顾好自己，请你不要担心。我承认有时我讲话很没有礼貌，做人很没有耐性，但是我会改。我知道你对我的期望很高，所以我会尽我所能不让你失望，我也会用我对你的爱来让你的人生越过越灿烂！

妈妈，我爱您！

Hey guys, long time no see. SOoo fast, it's already july now. Sorry for the slow update as i m lazy n my comp spoil for weeks. Hehe.. xD

06/06/2009 : Serious and blur girl Min Cheer always become the target of guys. Y huh ? I also not sure. Need to ask her admirer, example Jia Ming and Denning. Hehe... =p

08/06/2009 : There is a gal whom always seems to be busy ! She dont eat meat or any food with oil (mayb bcz her surname is oii >> sounds same as oil). Haha.. ^^ She only love vege n BOOKS !! Lolz... Happy Birthday chee li!!!
